Lesson Information

Lessons are available for Piano, Voice, Violin,Cello, Harp, Bass, Guitar, Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon, Trumpet, Trombone, French horn, Drums, and Percussion.  Lessons can be taken at the CMA facility or in the comfort of your home depending on your needs, either in private or semi-private formats. The Conservatory of Musical Arts offers a number of alternatives to music education, including:

Individual Instruction Private lessons take place once a week, and are offered in 30 minute, 45 minute, and 60 minute increments.

Coached Ensembles Coached Ensembles are where students learn essential listening and sight reading skills. Knowledge of tuning, blending, and phrasing together within an appropriate style for the music at hand are understood by students through concrete experience. Members meet weekly for rehearsal with performances scheduled throughout the year. Currently woodwind, brass, string, and small jazz ensembles are offered(See policy and pricing.)
University Faculty Led Workshops
& Master Classes
Conducted by teachers working with CMA as well as by guest clinicians, these hands-on work shops give students the chance to interact with master musicians in their field.  Instrumental & Vocal Master Classes, Jazz Improvisation, College and All South Jersey Audition Preparation sessions are offered.
Recitals Annual student recitals are held at the Culture Hall in Medford NJ, and at the Grace Episcopal Church in Haddonfield. Others are held at smaller more intimate locations, so students have opportunities to perform in a variety of settings.
Early Childhood Music Children ages 4 through 7 can take lessons on piano, violin, cello, and flute in an age appropriate teaching environment that will reinforce their natural curiosity and love for music, while simultaneously developing the basic instrumental and musicianship skills necessary for future learning.

Offsite Music Programs CMA offers music programs to educational institutions in the community in order to supplement their existing curriculum.
