August Schultz is a Philadelphia-based drummer who moved from Arizona in 2018 to attend The University of the Arts for drum performance (class of 2022). He has performed/recorded in and around the Philadelphia area with numerous musical groups, playing many different styles of music including rock, jazz, funk, big band, and much more.

As a teacher, his instructional methodology is holistically oriented to fit the needs of each individual student, with a focus on exploring and nurturing their personal interests in music, positive reinforcement and developing a healthy growth mindset conducive to efficient learning.
