Anita Prettelt

Piano

Anita Prettelt is a graduate of Rowan University where she earned her BA in music with a concentration in performance. While at Rowan, she studied under the instruction of Dr. Yoheved Kaplinsky who has been a faculty member, artistic director, and chair of the piano department at The Juilliard School.

Anita’s experience in teaching spans over 40 years. She is a classically trained pianist who uses a traditional approach, teaching students beginning at age 6 through adult. Along with using method and technique books she incorporates classical, pop, rock, and a variety of musical styles. Anita also enjoys combining the creativity of art with music.

She has taught at various music schools in the South Jersey area and was the co-founder, owner, and teacher at The Haddon Piano School in Haddon Heights for 13 years.
